A truly national event and a showcase for international agricultural excellence, the Royal New Zealand Show brings together the best of all things rural, combined with entertainment and commercial exhibits.

The Royal New Zealand Show is a key component of New Zealand Cup & Show Week, a 10 day festival of the best in agriculture, racing and fashion, that contributes over $27 million to the local economy and is promoted nationally by the Christchurch City Council.

Over 120,000 visitors, close to 600 indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing the very best of New Zealand farming and rural life, entertainment and attractions - all packaged into the Royal New Zealand Show 11-13 November 2009.
